The Haikou Cacophony Society

Birds of a Feather

On China's tropical island of Hainan, a flock gathered. Born from Dragonburn and the Shanghai connection, the Haikou chapter proves that Cacophony can bloom anywhere—even in a city where the music scene doesn't exist.

What is the Haikou Cacophony Society?

Moving from San Diego to Haikou, Hainan Province was a trip. Not even Haikou actually, but a little city about a 45-minute Didi ride from the city center called Guilinyang. After discovering Dragonburn and Camp Cacophonia, the gospel was preached to close friends, and Birds of a Feather was born.

Events range from 50 people down to 2. Sometimes 3 people attend. Sometimes we recruit as the night progresses. Sometimes the event host doesn't even show. This isn't for the people. This is for us.
